Κάθε γωνιά και κάθε πέτρα της Ελληνικής Γης είναι τίμια και ιερή.

Το βιβλίο αυτό  "Archaelogy in Situ" εκδόθηκε από τον διεθνή εκδοτικό οίκο LEXINGTON BOOKS με την επιμέλεια των καθηγητριών Αρχαιολογίας και Ανθρωπολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου της Ιντιάνα των Η.Π.Α. Anna Stroulia και Susan Buck Sutton και αναφέρεται σε αρχαιότητες της Ελλάδας και κυρίως στις σχέσεις των σημερινών τοπικών κοινωνιών και την προσέγγισή τους με τα αρχαιολογικά μνημεία της περιοχής τους αλλά και την επιστήμη της Αρχαιολογίας και τους Αρχαιολόγους.Είναι καρπός πολύχρονης συλλογικής εργασίας ,ιδιαίτερα των καθηγητριών που επιμελήθηκαν αυτής της εργασίας και έκδοσης. Το βιβλίο εκδόθηκε στις Η.Π.Α. το καλοκαίρι του 2010 αλλά απέφυγα τότε οποιαδήποτε σχετική αναφορά για να μην παρασυρθεί και αυτό στην δίνη της προεκλογικής περιόδου και να μην εκληφθεί άλλως. 

Σήμερα ,μακρυά από κάθε κίνδυνο καταλογισμού σκοπιμότητας , αναφέρομαι σ αυτό και ευχαριστώ τον Θεό που με αξίωσε να μιλήσω στον κόσμο για το Σπήλαιο Φράγκθι,για την Κοιλάδα, για την Ελλάδα και τους Έλληνες. Ιδιαίτερα σήμερα παρά ποτέ, εμείς οι νέο- Έλληνες έχουμε ανάγκη όχι τόσο από τον σεβασμό των ξένων ,αλλά κυρίως έχουμε ανάγκη από τον αυτοσεβασμό τον δικό μας και τον σεβασμό σε κάθε σπιθαμή αυτής της ιερής Ελληνικής γης που πατάμε. Ο Νίκος Καζαντζάκης έγραψε κάποτε για το "Τίμιο Ξύλο"πως όλα τα ξύλα είναι τίμια, κατ αναλογία θα μπορούσαμε να πούμε σήμερα ότι δεν είναι μόνον ιερά τα αρχαία μνημεία των προγόνων  μας αλλά, και κάθε γωνιά της Ελληνικής Γης και κάθε πέτρα της, είναι τίμια και ιερή και έτσι  να την ελαφροπατάμε και να την διαχειριζόμαστε.
